I bumped into my father at a train station far from home. I needed to get home and didn’t have the money for a train ticket. My father had money for his ticket and didn’t seem to offer help, as he didn’t seem to know my situation. The station master checking for tickets on the platform confronted me and I begged him to let me travel for free. He said no and my father caught the train and I was left there worried, wondering where I could go for the night.

I am 23 yr old female and have lived away from home happily for about a year with my partner. My relationship with my father is improving.
